Biocon, a biotech major based in Bangalore, has registered a net profit of Rs.62.36 crore for the third quarter of the 2009-10 fiscal, which ended on Sep 30, when compared to the net profit Rs.33.5 crore, which was registered during the corresponding period last fiscal.
The net income of the firm is now Rs.312.44 crore when compared to the Rs.268 crore which was registered during the corresponding quarter last year.
According to the Biocon's unaudited consolidated results, the group posted a net profit of Rs.74.2 crore in Q2 of 2009-10 fiscal, when compared to the Rs.25 crore reported during similar period last year.
