The Indo-Bahamian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles lost their last Group A match of the ATP World Tour Finals. Bhupathi and Knowles went down to top seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia by 4-6, 6-7(9).

Bhupathi and Knowles have already reserved their place in the semi-finals by winning their first two matches. For defending champions Nestor and Zimonjic, it was first win in the tournament on Thursday. The duo cannot qualify for the semifinals as they have lost their two opening matches in Group A.

Nestor and Zimonjic took a 3-2 lead in the first set and then bounced back from 2-6 down in the second set tie-break to close the match in 78 minutes. Bhupati said,"We have to look after ourselves and our games. If we execute like we have been the last three matches, I think we'll have a good shot to win on Saturday."

India's Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy were ousted from the tournament on Wednesday. They lost to Mike and Bob, their second consecutive loss in the tournament.
