Leading private hotel company of India, Bharat Hotels has announced to operate all its hotels under the new brand name 'The Lalit'. Talking about the introduction of the new brand identity, the chairperson of the Bharat Hotels, Jyotsna Suri said that the company will try to maintain the dignity of the new brand name. The name of the founder of the company is Lalit Suri. She described the moment as one of the proudest occasion in the history of the company. From now, the Bharat Hotels will be known as Lalit Suri Hospitality Group.
Informing more about the future plans of the group, Jyotsna Suri stated that it will implement all its investment and hiring plans without any alteration. The newly branded company is expected to invest Rs.1,200 crore (Rs.12 billion) over the next three or four years to increase the number of rooms from 1,500 now to 3,600. Commenting about international plans, Suri informed that the group will open its offices in London and Dubai to consolidate its overseas business. Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, the new name of Bharat Hotels operates seven hotels and it is also developing 10 other projects.
