The incident of Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh slapping S Sreesanth on 25 April would have advanced into a fisticuff had not the security guards and other teammates intervened on time. As per the recent reports of a news channel that claims to have seen the video footage, the brawl between the two Indian cricketers continued for a short while after Harbhajan slapped Sreesanth. It says that Harbhajan had another go at Sreesanth during which the former kept nudging and abusing the latter. The off spinner, as a result, has been prohibited from the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League. 

 

The news channels says that Sreesanth too did not take things lying down and threw himself at Harbhajan, but the team mates present there held him back. Apart from being banned from the IPL cricket matches, slapping the Indian pacer has also cost Bhajji (Harbhajan) about three crore rupees in fine. Sreesanth, on the other hand, has been allowed to go with just a warning from Match Referee Farokh Engineer.
