The Railways’ IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) in collaboration with Kolkata-based tour operator I-Nova will offer belly dancers in a package tour from Kolkata to Mumbai via Goa. IRCTC GM Vivek Srivastava said that they will sell quality time to their tourists in the tour-package.

 

Mr Srivastava said that the train will have hostesses who in pattern of air-hostess will serve multi-cuisine food to the passengers. Also, according to him there will be a medical team of doctors and nurses too. It seems in every way Railways is trying to keep everything at par with international standards.

 

There would be all sorts of on-board entertainment - from folk singers, magicians, radio jockeys to discos. Srivastava informed that the tour will start from Kolkata’s main railhead Howrah on Jan 2 for Goa and return on Jan 11.The tour-package would cost Rs Rs.34,990 per head.
