Bainsla, talking to the reporters, has said that if Rajasthan government comes with proper proposal, he would like to enter into dialogue. He said that he would not settle for anything less than ST status and he and all other protesters would not move anywhere till he is not given the letter of recommendation by the government.
Earlier, Gujjar protestors blocked roads and rail traffic in the National Capital Region as part of their 'NCR rasta roko' agitation. However, the MG road connecting Delhi and Gurgaon, NH-8 and NH-24 highways were cleared by the police in the afternoon.
On the question of governments appeal by air dropping pamphlets for peace in the state of Rajasthan, 70 year old Bainsla replied that this tactics is of no use. Though Bainsla has wished for talks, some Gujjar leaders said the state government has not sent any formal invitation to the community for talks.
