Yoga and spiritual Guru Baba Ramdev has been approached by Central Reserve Police Officers (CRPF) to de-stress its officers. Nearly ninety eight percent of the CRPF officers are deployed in strife-torn areas, which have a considerable effect on their state of mind. The world’s largest paramilitary force has hence resorted to take Baba Ramdev’s help to impart training in Yoga and Pranayam for de-stressing their men.
The cases of fratricide has been on the rise in CRPF and has become a cause of much concern. Hence urgent steps are required to bring down the stress levels of the CRPF personnel. A senior CRPF official revealed that their officers lead a highly stressful life owing to deployment in combat zones. The official further revealed that Baba Ramdev will train 800 CRPF personnel as master trainers, whom Baba will make proficient in Yogic techniques and Pranayam and who will further train the entire force.
