Avinash Bhosale Group (ABIL) is likely to set up three five-star hotels in Pune, Nagpur and Mumbai with an investment of Rs 600 crore. The three hotel projects are expected to be developed over the next three years. Informing about the projects, ABIL Chief Executive Officer Sudhanshu Purohit stated that the 280-room five-star property at Pune will be opened by October while the remaining two hotels at Mumbai and Nagpur will be launched by 2011.

According to Sudhanshu Purohit, the company enjoys a commanding position in real estate and infrastructure sectors and now it is aiming to foray into the hospitality segment. He informed that ABIL already operates Sun-n-Sand hotels in Pune and Goa through a joint venture company named CCPIL. While informing about the new hotel projects, Purohit said that proposed hotel in Pune will be operated by Westin Hotels.

The property in Parel-Mumbai will be run by the Shangrila Group while the Nagpur hotel will be operated by CCPIL under the brand name ‘Sun-n-Sand’. However, company's five-star hotel project near Palm Beach in Navi Mumbai called Metropolice has been delayed due to the international airport project there. Sudhanshu Purohit assured that once the airport project gets started, the company will start the construction of hotel project. ABIL has acquired 10 acres of land for Navi Mumbai hotel project.

Currently, ABIL is involved in a super luxurious cold-shell residential project called God’s Blessings in Pune. Purohit informed that the project is nearing completion and the apartments will be sold to buyers in a cold-shell manner. God’s Blessings residential project has apartments with more than 5,000 square foot area.
