After a lot of deliberations, it was finally agreed that Australian cricket team will tour India in October 2008 and play the four test matches. Cricket Australia was feeling apprehensive about sending its players to India for bilateral test-match series following the string of bomb blasts that rocked New Delhi recently. The CA, however, eventually gave the green signal after an incisive review of the safety and security situation in the host country.
