Theatre and films & television artist, Atul Kulkarni is all set to try a new genre by turning a TV show anchor. Atul Kulkarni has given his nod to host ‘Bawander’, a reality show which talks about court cases and will be aired at IBN 7. Giving details about the show, Atul remarked that it talks about important court cases in the history of Indian jurisdiction. He further revealed that the cases shown in the show are important as they have changed the course of law in Indian Law history and have made the Constitution of our country stronger.
The Bollywood actor has given some very fine performances in films like Rang De Basanti, Page 3 and Hey Ram among others. On being asked that what made Atul accept the show, he remarked that when he heard about the concept of the show and saw a few episodes he felt that it would be significant to make the common people aware about our laws. He further remarked that the show is about the ordinary people who fought the war against laws and the government and made the government change those laws. The actor stated that he does not intend to do more television till the time he gets something as important as Bawander.
