Asus has launched two new smart phones, which flaunts GPS, in the Indian market. The GPS services have been incorporated from Garmin Ltd.
The handsets, M20 and G60, come at a cost of Rs 31,900 and Rs 29,900 respectively.
The Asus M20 flaunts a 2.8 inch touch screen and runs on the recently launched, Windows Mobile 6.5 Operating System. It comes at a weight of 99 g. Meanwhile, Asus G60 sports a 3.5 inch screen. Both the smart phones have 3 MP camera. These phones come with the ‘car-finder’ feature.
“We want to differentiate ourselves in this very competitive smart phone market. The Garmin-ASUS Nuvifone series is an industry first to integrate cutting-edge personal navigator with a premium phone. Coupling the expertise of a multimedia phone and a location based device will offer both the premium services in one compact package to our consumers,” said Mr Wang.
