Asus has launched new Eee PC 1002HA netbook and Eee Top ET1602 in India. With the launch of Eee PC 7-inch the company introduced netbooks specially targeted at school children. To suit the needs of professional users the Eee PC 1002HA netbook has been modified. The netbook is based on the Windows XP Home OS. It has a 10 inch LED backlight display having a resolution of 1024×600.

 

Eee PC 1002HA netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor. The netbook also includes an Intel 645GSE/ICH7-M chipset. Eee PC 1002HA has a free 10GB online storage facility along with the usual 160GB HDD storage device. It also saves up to 15 percent power of the CPU. The netbook weighs 1.2kg and has a one-inch battery attached. It is packed with features like digital array microphone, 1.3MP built-in webcam and bluetooth connectivity.

 

The Eee Top ET1602 is all-in-one touchscreen PC features full functionality of a regular desktop PC. It sports a 15.6-inch 16:10 five-wired resistive wide panel with Splendid Video Intelligence Technology for vivid and clear display.
