Asus has released its latest 23-inch monitor, ASUS VG236H which is capable of supporting full HD video and 3D visuals. The new monitor is powered by the Nvidia 3D Vision technology that enables gamers to enjoy several titles in 3D. The movie buffs can also watch Blu-ray HD movies without any problem.

 

The new ASUS VG236H monitor can provide 120Hz of refresh rate and jarring-free action scene videos due to the incorporated Trace Free II technology. The product has also superb response time.

 

Asus has promised that its Color Shine technology and 400 nits ultra-brightness will ensure good quality pictures to the viewers. The monitor can display 16.7 million colors and offer 100000:1 contrast ratio.

 

For each of the activity, the company has set five mode settings such as  Gaming, Theater, Night view, Scenery and Standard and that is only possible through the recent Splendid Video Intelligence technology.

 

The user can turn the monitor to any side or degrees based on the choice. For instance, the monitor can be turned to 150-degrees or can be adjusted to 100mm in height. As far as connectivity is concerned, there are  output ports including YPbPr and HDMI with dual-link DVI for 3D playback.
