Assocham & Eiwat have entered into an agreement for the development of renewable energy parks in India.


Assocham & Japanese Firm Eiwat Sign Renewable Energy Pact

A pact has been signed by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, Assocham, and a Japanese firm on Tuesday which is aimed at the transfer of technology for the development of renewable energy parks in India.
 
The agreement has been signed by Assocham with Eiwat, a firm based in Tokyo. Eiwat is a firm which is into the development of technologies in renewable energy, designs energy parks. The company also promotes non-conventional energy on a worldwide basis.
 
According to the secretary general of Assocham, D.S. Rawat, the company will now be designing such renewable energy parks for India so that eco-friendly technologies can be given a boost.
 
"In addition, Eiwat and Assocham will assist each other in organising business delegations and facilitating business contacts in their respective home countries," Rawat said.
