Asin Ready For ‘Ready’? Asin

Asin is going to Sri Lanka on June 20, for the shoot of her upcoming film ‘Ready’ with director Anees Bazmee and super star, Salman Khan.

‘Ready’ is the remake of a Telugu film by the same name. The movie was originally planning to be shot in Mauritius, but, there was a last minute change and therefore it will be now shot in Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan Government gave a green signal for the shooting of the movie, as some days back; Bollywood star Salman attended the IIFA.

Everything is fine till here, but the twist lies in the fact that, there is some controversy going on in Kollywood over Bollywood stars. The controversy is the recent going of Bollywood stars to Colombo for IIFA.

The South Indian Film Chamber Of Commerce (SIFCC) even passed a resolution to ban the films of Bollywood stars like Vivek Oberoi, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Now, the worst part is Asin is a South Indian actress and she has set the alarm bells ringing for Vijay, who is the biggest supporters of the Sri Lankan Tamil’s.

Vijay has even gone for a day’s fast for the Tamils during the Sri Lankan crisis.

If Asin goes to Sri Lanka, then strong opposition will be raised by pro- Tamil groups.
