The South Indian Film Federation had protested against the IIFA awards function to be held in Sri Lanka. The reason was the merciless killing of thousands of Tamilians in the recent past in Sri Lanka.

The committee has now banned Hrithik and Salman’s film to be telecasted in South India.

Now, the same thing is happening with Southern star Asin, who is going to Sri Lanka for her shooting. Although, the Sri Lankan government has extended all the possible facilities to the shooting crew.

Asin is now in a confused state of mind, as she is getting calls and emails requesting her to quit the movie.

Asin said “I also got the invitation to participate in the IIFA. But respected the emotions and sentiments of the Tamil people and boycotted that function. But the producer here, has only signed me to act in the film Ready. I have given my call sheet to act in his film.”

If the shooting of ‘Ready’ will be held in Sri Lanka, then the movie will not be shown in the five Southern states.
