Director Ashutosh Gowariker has selected new music composer Sohail Sen instead of AR Raham for his romantic comedy 'What's Your Rashee?' Sources informed that Sohail Sen has composed 13 different songs for the movie 'What's Your Rashee?', scheduled to be released by this September. Bollywood’s sizzling actress Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead role in the movie while Hurman Baweja is the male lead.
Priyanka Chopra plays as many as 12 characters in 'What's Your Rashee?'. Talking about it, the actress said that music composer Sohail Sen has nicely put together all the characters with a range and mixture of distinctive sounds. She added that each song depicts the story of a single character which is extremely unique. The 12 different characters belong to different backgrounds and different zodiac signs.
Priyanka Chopra is looking forward to the launch of the music from the film. Her co-star in the film, Hurman Baweja also praised the efforts of Sohail Sen. The music composer has earlier worked on multi-starrer film 'Sirf' in 2008. According to Hurman, it is the effort of Ashutosh Gowariker, Javed Akhtar and Sohail Sen that has created 13 distinctive compositions in one addictive album.
The film 'What's Your Rashee?’ is based on a Gujarati novel 'Kimball Ravenswood' by Madhu Rye. This is also Ashutosh Gowariker’s first romantic comedy. The plot of the film revolves a young Gujarati man who tries to find out his dream girl within 10 days to save his family from an unforeseen ordeal. The movie is jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.
