Aishwarya Rai is the forever muse of renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he has been responsible for shaping her career. What attracts Bhansali in her is her eternal grace, beauty and a mind which reads every unsaid thing.
With ‘Guzaarish’, Sanjay is all set to present his ‘Nandini’ of ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ to the world, this time as a nun, named Sofie, who will be seen taking care of her patient Hrithik Roshan.
Bhansali, who cherishes Ash more than anything says, “With Aishwarya, it`s so special. I feel blessed to have an actor who can understand me, who can interpret what I want to say without my saying too many words. If I don`t like a shot, she knows exactly why I didn`t like it. It`s just two minds completely connected at that moment and understanding everything.”
Bhansali made the world fall in love with Ash through ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Devdas’, in both the movies, she rules the screens.
The 47 years old director adds further, “She is not only a beautiful girl, she has a beautiful mind too, a sharp mind and a thinking mind that questions and answers. She is not someone who would just come to the set and say `okay, now what am I supposed to do besides looking beautiful? `. So that is what I really cherish in her.”
‘Guzaarish’ releases on November 19 and it will explore the life of a paraplegic patient enacted by Hrithik Roshan. Ash will be seen in a very Christian look with lovely outfits, the movie has beautiful songs added with all the Bhansali colors.
