Apple’s iPad tablet computer has entered the schools of Singapore relieving students from loads of text books and note books.
 
Four schools in Singapore has reportedly adopted iPad for teaching, which is the most premier gadget in the technology industry currently. The school has bought 150 Apple iPads for 140 students and 10 teachers as a part of pilot project.
 
Nanyang Girls High School, one of the four schools, has bought the iPads for Singapore $135,000.
 
The students use their iPad to get connected to the Internet for downloading books and other course materials. The iPads are also used for taking down the notes.
 
Besides, on the flipside, teachers fear that students may get addicted to such devices.The other schools in Singapore that uses the iPad tablet computer include Nanhua Primary School, Tampines Secondary School, and Dunman Secondary School.
