Leading tech major, Apple has launched its new range of iPods during the Christmas season in India. Apple has offered both cheap and high end variants of iPods. The new iPod range includes 1GB iPod shuffle starting at Rs. 2,300 to a 32 GB iPod touch at Rs.21,100.  One can get iPod Nano in eight colours such as silver, purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, and black with curved aluminum enclosure.
 
The second generation iPod Touch comes with features like 3.5-inch widescreen glass display, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi wireless networking, integrated volume control buttons, built-in speaker and accelerometer and other advanced sensors. iPod Touch is smaller and lighter and incorporates a thin contoured metal design.
 
The 120 GB iPod Classic can store up to 30000 songs, 150 hours of video and 25000 photos. With a 2.5-inch color display, iPod Classic offers 36 hours of audio playback time. The new range of Apple iPods are expected to attract a large number of Indian music lover in spite of the global economic slowdown. Apple is supposed to be leading the world iPod market in this era of crisis.
