Apple Inc is likely to release its new iPod Touch with dual cameras in the September. Speculations say that the Apple would launch its high-end gizmo with more advanced features than the earlier generation during the holiday season.

Apple’s shares rose 1.2 percent as the rumours spreaded in the market. Meanwhile, some analysts also see the iPod Touch to arrive in the first half of 2011.

The iPod Touch, which was launched in 2007, September, is a high-end portable device that can function as iPod, pocket computer and game player.  

The earlier model came with a 3.5 inches wide touch-screen, Wi-Fi platform and in an elegant steel rear panel. Apple also released 32GB and 64GB iPod touch models that offer great speed. The iPod Touch runs on iOS software. 

The second generation iPod Touch was launched in 2008, which had new advanced external volume controls, built-in Nike+ and Bluetooth among other features. And the third generation iPod Touch was launched in September 2009. Apple released iPod Touch models at prices starting from $199.
