Apple has launched its new range of laptop computers nicknamed the "Brick" or "iBrick" with more powerful 3D graphics performance. The new range of aluminium bodied MacBooks from Apple has a chip that makes graphics run about five times faster. The laptops are endowed with a led-backlit glass screen display that uses less energy and makes colors appear more vibrant. The new Apple's laptop offers the same features as the old MacBook Pro series.
Apple is likely to approach Nvidia to supply its graphics chips for all its new laptops. However, there were rumors that Apple would come out with low-priced laptops. But as per experts, it couldn't do so. One of the versions with a 2.0 GHz processor costs $1,299 and another costs $1,599 having more onboard memory, 2.4GHz and a backlit keyboard. An updated MacBook Air, the ultra-thin portable notebook is priced at $1,799.
