Aligarh Muslim University has formed an advisory committee for developing a framework for identifying the courses for its new campuses in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra and West Bengal.
"The 12-member committee has been entrusted with the task of identifying courses that the university should offer at its new centres planned in the five states," said the AMU spokesperson Rahat Abrar, while addressing the media in Aligarh.
"The committee would also identify sources of intellectual, technical and other forms of support from the alumni and well-wishers around the world to offer cutting-edge programme to the new-generation students," he added.
AMU Vice-Chancellor P.K. Abdul Azis has mentioned that the report is expected to be submitted by Dec 15, after which a brain storming session on the same will be held New Delhi, from participants across India, to enhance the plans.
