Bollywood actress Amrita Rao has shed her girl-next-door image and appears in a skimpy bikini in her upcoming film ‘Shortkut - The Con Is On’. The 28-year-old actress wears a bikini in the song ‘Patli Galli’ composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. The actress’ styling in the song was done by Manish Malhotra. The song also features Akshaye Khanna and Arshad Warsi.
The sudden image makeover clearly suggests that the actress is striving for popularity and glamour in Bollywood. Directed by Neeraj Vora and Roshan Andrews, the film also has Anil Kapoor and Chunky Pandey. Both the actors will be seen together after a gap of twenty years. Anil Kapoor and Chunky Pandey last worked together in ‘Tezaab’ (1988).
‘Shortkut - The Con Is On’ is light-hearted comedy film and the plot revolves around the story of two strugglers, Raju (Arshad Warsi) and Shekhar (Akshaye Khanna). The film becomes interesting when reigning actress Mansi’s (Amrita Rao) romantic involvement with Shekhar gets culminated into a marriage while her professional interactions with Raju begin. The film is produced by Anil Kapoor who also plays a role.
Coming back to Amrita Rao, the actress made her debut in Hindi films with ‘Ab Ke Baras’. She worked in other films like ‘Ishq Vishk’, Main Hoon Na and Vivah. The actress, who has maintained a girl-next-door image in all her past movies, is expected to bowl-over the audience with her new sizzling looks in ‘Shortkut - The Con Is On’.
