Amkette has launched its ultra portable Flash TV multimedia player in India. It helps the users to playback their downloaded movies, pictures and music from the storage devices like USB hard drives, flash drives or memory cards directly on their HD television.
Rajiv Bapna, director of Amkette said "In this age of digital revolution, our consumers are evolving every day, and are demanding high end products that fit their wallet and are easy to use. As a company we have kept pace with this advancement. Our latest offering, the new Flash TV is one of our offering to meet the need for better technology of both computer and laptop users at an affordable price."
He also said,”The new Flash TV unlocks the content from PCs and storage devices and makes it simple for people to enjoy their media on their home theatre system, LCD's, plasma screens or the normal television without the need to spend time configuring a complicated device or transcoding files to make them compatible."
The new Flash TV supports all the video and audio formats like MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-3, MPEG-4, MP3, WMA, DVD, RMVB including the photo formats JPEG, GIF and BMP.
The FLASH TV weighs 45gms only and is available at selected retail stores for Rs 2,995.
