The presence of Amitabh Bachchan in any movie is acceptable, but his reference was also given in the upcoming movie based on gangsters, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’. Director of the movie, Milan Luthria agrees to it and says that he is a reference point in the movie.

Amitabh Bachchan had played Haji Mastan’s character in Yash Chopra’s ‘Deewar’ in the year 1975 and thus giving his reference in any similar movie is quite inevitable.

Milan Luthria, director of the movie adds, “I don't know where you heard this. But it's true. In the course of the film, the girlfriend of Ajay's character, played by Kangana Ranaut, mentions to him that a film should be made on his life."

In the dialogues, Kangana tells Ajay Devgan about a young and intense character ‘Ami’, who is just right to play Haji’s character; she adds that a film should be made on him.

To this Ajay replies and says, 'Now you want me to turn into an actor?'

Milam Luthria says that the name of Big B is not mentioned anywhere and says, "I'd never make any reference to Mr Bachchan that can be considered even remotely disrespectful. But yes, Kangana refers to him as 'the young intense actor.”
