The dream to become the next American idol shattered for Michael Lynche also known as the ‘Big Mike’. Michael Lynche who received the lowest number of votes on Wednesday’s episode of America’s most popular talent hunt show was asked to return home.
 
Lynche, 26 had stolen many hearts on the show and was saved by the judges five weeks ago. But, this time he was not as lucky.
 
Michael Lynche who is a personal trainer from Queens, N.Y. sang Michael Jackson's ‘Will You Be There’ from the flick, ’Free Willy’ but did not received any good reaction from the judges on the Tuesday’s episode.
 
He said after being eliminated, "It has been unbelievable. Thank God for the judges' save... It is all good."
 
Now, the Fox Network's singing competition is left with three contestants who will compete for the title. The top three contestants are: musician Crystal Bowersox, 24, paint sales clerk Lee Dewyze, and 27-year-old musician Casey James.
 
The top three contestants will compete for a place in the finale, which will be telecasted live on Fox on May 25.
