The journey for two ‘American Idol’ contestants ended on Wednesday night's live results show which was broadcasted on Fox.
 
The two contestants who were eliminated are Andrew Garcia, a 23-year-old musician from Moreno Valley, CA, and Katie Stevens, a 17-year-old high school student from Middlebury, CT.
 
The host of the show, Ryan Seacrest announced that over 34 million votes have been casted by the home viewers following the live performance broadcast.
 
Andrew Garcia and Katie Stevens were eliminated after they received the least votes following Tuesday night's live performance show.
 
Katie Stevens said after being eliminated, "It was the best. I'll talk about all the amazing people I met, the amazing experience that this was."
 
Meanwhile Andrew Garcia quoted after his elimination was announced, "I'm still happy. Thank you guys. I mean, I appreciate everything and I'm glad I'm here, I'm glad I've been through what I've been through.”
 
He added, "You guys let me experience something that I'll never experience again. Thank you. Love you guys."
Garcia had performed Presley's ‘Hound Dog’ during Tuesday night's live broadcast while Stevens had performed ‘Baby What You Want Me To Do’ to good reviews from Jackson, DeGeneres and DioGuardi.
