Ambuja Reality has decided to enter into boutique hotels in next two years in West Bengal. Factually, Ambuja Reality is a joint enterprise between West Bengal Housing Board (WBHB) and Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd (GACL). The joint entity has planned that it would be setting up six boutique hotels at different tourist locations in West Bengal.

 

Harsh Neotia, Chairman of the company said that the company will come up with five to six resorts in tourist destinations in the state and also a few city properties in the boutique hotel category. He added that the firm is firm on its expansion plan in other parts of India and abroad after two or three years once the brand is established.

 

Interestingly, the firm was established in the year 1993 to supplement the efforts of the Housing Board to meet the housing demand in West Bengal over all levels of the society. According to Neotia the boutique hotels will have a unique theme based on the place where it comes up and they would all have the second name 'Kutir' with the first name associated with the locality..
