Raghuraj Pratap Singh and Abu Azmi both were considered as intimate acquaintances of Amar Singh. But soon after Amar Singh’s sacking from SP both of them seems to have desolated him.

 

Raghuraj Pratap Singh, MLA, Samajwadi party, who is also known as Raja Bhaiyya arranged a generous dinner for the MLAs of Samajwadi party. Mulayam Singh Yadav was the chief guest of the dinner party. It has been reported that all the important figures from Samajwadi Party attended the dinner with Mulayam Singh.

 

Raghuraj said that the purpose of this dinner was nothing but just a cordial get-together of the SP MLAs. But, the actual reason of the dinner party could be easily made out by political bystanders.

 

When asked about Amar Singh, Mulayam Singh retorted, ‘‘Many people come and go in political journeys. Everybody has something or the other missing, including me. Nobody is perfect. Sometimes these shortcomings force people to part ways. But then this is life.’’ He also added that he was at a dinner party and not a political event.

 

The dinner was attended by Shiv Pal Yadav and Ahmed Hasan . A Senior SP leader said, ‘‘It’s just a way to announce that Amar Singh’s sacking from the party will have no impact on his terms with Mulayam Singh’’.
