Alliance Group To Invest Rs 1 Billion In Real Estate Television

The Alliance Group of Chennai, which owns the Real Estate Television, has decided to spend Rs one billion on it over the ensuring two years. The Real Estate TV is India's first 24x7 English channel dedicated to the reality sector. It got launched in July this year.  

 

The CEO of the Real Estate TV, Prem Kumar Menon, said, 'We had launched the channel with an initial investment of Rs 500 million. Now we plan to invest Rs one billion in the next two years.' He added that they are planning to gradually extend the presence of the channel to markets of Middle East, US, Canada and Australia.
 

Mr Menon informed that the channel wants to cater to the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), who want to invest in the real estate sector here. The CEO further informed that it has just been nine months since the channel's launch and they already have over two million viewers with an attention span of 14 minutes. He said this trend was encouraging.
