Starring: Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Mugdha Godse, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar and Mukesh Tiwari
Director: Rohit Shetty
Veer, enacted by Fardeen Khan, is a singer but lives on the money which his elder brother Dharam, enacted by Sanjay Dutt, sends to him. Fardeen would have even lied that he is married. Even though Veer loves Vidhya, enacted by Mugdha Godse, her father is against this relationship.
But Veer gets his support from his friend Prem, enacted by Ajay Devgan, who is married to Jhanvi, enacted by Bipasha Basu. Jhanvi is the ‘caretaker’ of Prem’s ancestral gymnasium. But Veer and Prem start facing problems as they lose money and end up in debt, which they are unable to repay.
This is when Dharam lands in Goa, where these guys reside, to detour himself on his way to Lusoto. The things take a different trun after Dharam mistakes Jhanvi to be Veer’s wife and Vidya to be Prem’s girlfriend.
What chaotic situations it all leads to with multiple characters dropping in to make their problems more complicated forms the rest of the film.
Even though the movie does not have any IQ, it is a 100% entertainer and a must watch for those who want to laugh their hearts out.
Ajay Devagna’s comedy skills have witnessed a sharp growth whereas Fardeen showcases as decent performance. Even though Bipasha and Mughda are in small roles, they have done complete justice to what they have done. Sanjay Dutt, I should admit, is his very best form.
In short, it is a complete paisa vasool.
