Sources from the Aligarh Muslim University informed that the varsity has collaborated with the Washington University Law School and the Johns Hopkins University to provide its students a number of academic programmes. Confirming the news, AMU spokesperson Rahat Abrar, said ‘The academic tie-up will help us in providing better career opportunities to our students.’

 

He added that soon they will be initiating students and faculty exchange programmes among these three educational institutions. The varsity officials specified that such provisions will be introduced from next academic session onwards.

 

It was further reported that P.K. Abdul Azis, the AMU Vice-Chancellor is currently in United States to sign MoUs in this regard with seven universities. The underlying idea behind the collaborations is to create fresh educational and job opportunities for AMU students and scholars.
