Akshay Promotes ‘Khatta Meetha’ As Sachin Tichkule Akshay Kumar

Akshay has given his best to the movie, ‘Khatta Meetha’ and now he is also very actively promoting the film. The first promotion of the movie took place in Mumbai, where Akshay arrived on a road roller at the venue dressed as ‘Sachin Tichkule’.

‘Khatta Meetha’ is a movie based on corruption at the lower level and how a man becomes corrupt without his own will. It is a movie which targets the corrupt politicians of today and one of the songs in the movie, ‘Bull Shit’ is tailor made for them.

Akshay Kumar talks about the movie and adds, “Well it is about corruption, it is about corruption at the lower level. We talk about how at the lower level it is and that is what my character is also and how I am a simple common man who gets lured in corruption, who has to pay money to get his work also done. And I am sure everybody knows that how corruption works. So it is basically a political satire.”

The film is directed by Priyadarshan and it stars Akhsay and Tollywood actress Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. Trisha has so far acted in 40 Telugu and Tamil movies and through ‘Khatta Meetha’, she makes her Bollywood debut.
