He portrays the character of a rich and ruthless businessman in the underwater action thriller, ‘Blue’. Director Anthony D’souza wanted him to have an unconventional look for the movie. Akshay came up with the ingenious idea of slashing his eyebrows. Anthony was both surprised and pleased to see the entirely changed look of Akshay and decided to keep his look the same way in the movie.

 

The look exactly suits his role and makes his character look more real and appealing. The director avoids the over-used French beards and goatees. Instead, he uses the unique salt and pepper bearded look for Akshay. The make-over gives Akshay the exact killer look which is required for the script of the movie.
