Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar’s maternal grandmother passed away on Friday, but still he did shooting for the events pre-scheduled on that day. He went and attended the funeral, did other works related to it and came back for delivering the works.

 

Akshay was expected to take a day off from shooting as his granny expired, he was in fact very close to her, but still he didn’t cancel or even postpone the scheduled events for his upcoming movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’.

 

Farah Khan, the director of the movie says, “Akshay went with his naani's ashes to Nashik on Saturday early morning, then headed to the rehearsals for the Zee Awards at the Bandra-Kurla complex. He had to rehearse as he was performing a special sequence."

Later than that, he again went to his naani’s prayer meet and came back again for the ‘Tees Maar Khan’ event at the Juhu beach. The most surprising part was that the actor came on a bike, wearing helmet, so that he could reach early.

 

Farah ends saying, “Most stars come up with the weirdest excuses asking to postpone or cancel shoots. But he had a valid excuse to cancel, didn't."
