Akai has announced the launch of its new Symbian-based smartphone Connect Book for business-class users in India.
 
With BlackBerry-like looks, the Connect Book has a full QWERTY keypad, 2.4 inches QVGA screen and sports 3.2 wide mega pixel camera. The phone has an expandable memory up to 8GB and 4GB memory card comes free with the phone.
 
The other key features of Connect Book are an FM radio with recorder, dual SIM capability 3.5mm audio jack, motion sensor, blacklist, USB and modem support, video call display, e-book compatibility, audio, video and voice recording and photo editor. The Internet features of the phone include Bluetooth, Opera mini browser, Wi-Fi and MSN Messenger.
 
The Akai Connect Book comes at a price of Rs. 5,795 for the Indian market and is available across all major retail outlets in the country.
