Karan Johar could finally convince Ajay Devgn to be on the Koffee With Karan chat show. Ajay refused the offer twice in the past and at last he agreed and shot the episode on Monday.

 

According to sources, Ajay’s wife Kajol persuaded him to be on the show who is also known to be a good friend of Karan.

 

Ajay who is very reserve in nature put down the offer to come up to the show because he avoids controversies. However, it is reported that Ajay said yes only after being assured that the episode would not make him uncomfortable.

 

It has also been reported by a source that Kajol who made appearances on the show along with Rani and Shah Rukh Khan, was also invited on the show along with hubby Ajay. But, the actress declined the offer due to her new born baby.

 

Karan said, "We have been chatting a lot. Initially, Ajay had reservations but I told him we will make it fun and comfortable and not gossipy. I wanted to catch a glimpse of Ajay and who he is and I think I managed that."

 

He added, "I would've liked Kajol on the show but she's busy with her newborn baby and it's difficult for her to get away. I don't think Ajay has ever done a one-on-one chat show like this one. It's very interesting for me to have Ajay on the show as he's media shy and an introvert."
