One of the leading soap brands of India, Lux, has roped in Bollywood’s much-hyped couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai for its new ad for promoting its new soap range that has beauty oils. Even though they have shared screen space for movies, this is the first time they will be seen together in an ad.
JWT Mumbai handles the ad directed by Stephen Mead with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy doing the background score. Fashion designer Aki Narula has designed the costumes for the couple whereas make-up has been done by Mickey Contractor.
According to Tista Sen, (executive creative director and senior vice-president at JWT India), “It’s a side of the couple that has never been seen before; it’s young, fun and in keeping with their real characters.”
