All of them looked hot and too much geared for promoting the movie. The team included Sonam, Ira Dubey, Lisa Haydon, Cyrus Sahukar, Amrita Puri and Rhea Kapoor. The promotions took place in Kolkata and they became the must see happening of the city.

Sonam was wearing her typical ‘Aisha’ outfit and all the others looked hot, even producer Rhea Kapoor was looking super-cool.

The event began with Sonam requesting an extra chair for poor sister Rhea Kapoor, later she introduced the ‘Aisha’ team to everyone and made them reveal their minutest of experiences.

Cyrus Sahukar, VJ turned actor plays the role of a rich Delhi boy stated, “I was the funnyman on the sets. I was almost neurotic. I was happy to be around women, but when they kept talking about their hair, bags, we used to run to Abhay’s room. Fact is more often than not, the women also asked me to leave.”

Another fresh face, which will be seen in the movie, was Amrita Dubey, she plays the role of Sonam’s friend and knows nothing about fashion.

She added, “They are introducing me with Aisha. At first, I did give a thought whether this was the launch pad for me, but once I read the script, I realized that I had a meaty, character-driven role. About probable pairings on the sets since there were so many of us around, let me clarify, the girls outnumbered the guys. So no question of pairing up."

Ira Dubey plays the role of a Punjabi girl, who is too frank and sharp to express herself revealed, “know my range as an actor since I come from a theatre background. I don’t want to limit myself playing glam, sexy and upper-class characters.”

Lisa Haydon, who doesn’t have a very big role in the movie stated,“I had little experience and was glad to be surrounded by a team, which was more experienced and yet not intimidating. Of course, we had their days too. But the overall experience was very encouraging.”

Abhay Deol was not present in the Kolkata promotions, but another male character Arunoday stated, “I loved being surrounded by women. After all, I come from a family of very powerful women. I have two sisters and there’s my mother. So, it was like coming home. I am used to doing theatre where everyone is very involved with the project. Luckily for me, it was the same with Aisha. We bonded well on the sets. If you ask of being bullied by women, I must say that Cyrus gets bullied more.”

So, the ‘Aisha’ team have crossed their fingers now as the movie is set to release on August 6.
