Leading DTH service provider, Airtel Digital TV has launched as many as eight annual packages for its customers. According to Bharti Telemedia vice president-marketing Sugato Banerji, the annual packages are of great value as they provide benefits of price protection for a full year with the added convenience of just a one-time recharge. He informed that subscribers will be able to enjoy 12 months of viewing while making payment for only 10 months.

 

Sugato Banerji stated that apart generating assured revenue for one year, the annual packages will also help the company to improve its operational efficiencies. The annual packages from Airtel Digital TV will come in three different prices for new customers. The three annual packages for new customer are prices at Rs 3450, Rs 4350 and Rs 5450, including installation cost and 12 months' subscription.

 

On the other hand the existing customers of Airtel Digital TV will be able to get annul packages at five different prices - Rs 1088, Rs 1265, Rs 1850, Rs 2750 and Rs 3850. The Super Value Pack that is priced at Rs 1088 will offer channels like Sony, Star and NDTV while the Economy Pack of Rs 1850 will include other GECs like Zee and Colors along with WorldSpace Radio.

 

Airtel Digital TV's Mega Pack priced at Rs 2750 will offer sports channels like ESPN and Star Sports including HBO, MGM, Cartoon Network, Discovery, Travel & Living and Pogo.  The Ultra Pack (Rs 3850) will also include Star Cricket, Zee Sports, Ten Sports, Neo Sports and other language channels.
