The date is out and the people are all geared up to participate in the most-awaited event of the year - Airtel Delhi Marathon 2008. On 9 November 2008, the entire capital city will be swayed away by the world's richest half marathon in which many celebrities would also participate. The good news for the aspirants is, registration starts from 10 Sep' 08 through online and other sources. And it will be closed as soon as the running places get filled on or before 15 Oct'08.

 

Like the earlier three seasons, this year too, a whopping sum of US$ 210,000 will be distributed among the winners (both men and women) in different categories, such as, Half Marathon (21.097 km), Dream Run (6 km), Sr. Citizens' Run (4.3 km), and Wheelchair Event (2.5 km). Last time around 28,500 people participated in the event, but this time the organizers are expecting over 30, 000 people to take part in the event.
