Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune in all likelihood is going to announce the results for AFMC MBBS Entrance Written Test result for 2008 in the last week of May. The examination was held on May 4th this year. The students who will make the cut in this examination will further be called for the interview round. It will only be after the candidate clears the interview, he or she will be selected for admissions in the medical college.
The prestigious medical college when conceived began as a post graduate training and research center. The graduate wing of the college was added later in August 1962 and then the college of nursing was added in 1964. The premier national institute has, for years, produced brilliant doctors who serve the Indian defence forces and are given military ranks.
