Adlabs Films, the media and entertainment company run by the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, has announced that it will be rechristened as Reliance MediaWorks, maintaining all the necessary conformities and standards.
"The name Reliance MediaWorks Ltd more accurately reflects our identity as a diversified film and media services company with a global presence," said company chief executive Anil Arjun.
Multiplexes are operated by Adlabs under its BIG Cinemas. It owns about 457 screens in India, the US, Malaysia and the Netherlands.
It also has a dominant presence in film services like film processing, visual effects, film restoration and image enhancement in addition to having studios and equipment rentals with facilities located in the US and India.
