After trying her luck in Bollywood, actress Sonali Kulkarni has decided to write a book in her mother tongue Marathi. The book titled 'Sokool' is expected to hit the stalls by next month. Informing about her new book, the actress said that 'Sokool' has been compiled of articles which she wrote for newspapers. She added that the writeups have been updated with certain things that are relevant.
Sonali Kulkarni made her debut in films with Amol Palekar's 'Daayraa' in 1995. Her performance in the film won her the best actress award at the France International Film Festival. She has also appeared in several other films like 'Pyar Tune Kya Kiya', 'Dil Vil Pyar Vyar', 'Bride and Prejudice' and 'Taxi No. 9211' 'Mission Kashmir' and 'Dil Chahta Hai'.
Sonali's upcoming films are 'Rock Shock', 'The Man' and 'Camp'. Another film titled 'Mohandas' is slated to be released in July 11. Talking about her role in the film, the actress said that 'Mohandas' has a different story line and she will be seen as a reporter in the film. Apart from Hindi movies, Sonali Kulkarni has also appeared in regional cinema, especially Marathi.
