Acer neoTouch P400 smartphone comes into the fore after the launch of Acer beTouch E400 handset at the Mobile World Congress. The phone is packed with hordes of features to woo the customers.
 
The neoTouch P400 handset is just 12mm in thickness and boasts of a slim form factor. The smooth black and chrome finish curvature is also good enough to entice the customer. The smartphone sports a large 3.2 inch high-definition (HVGA) touch screen and comes with Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS with optimized touch control system.
 
The set offers a wide range of features like Mail, Microsoft Exchange Server Support, Microsoft Office Mobile applications, Windows Media Player 10, a dedicated YouTube application as well as 3G+ and WiFi connectivity
 
The Acer set is also incorporated with Internet Explorer 6 Mobile having Flash support. The neoTouch P400 set works with Qualcomm 7227 processor. The Flash support in the IE 6 Mobile application helps the users to perform various activities like to toggle between column and full screen formats and to log in to secure sites for useful information. Making purchases online is also easy through this add-on.
 
For the camera buffs, there is a 3.2MP with autofocus and geo-tagging capabilities.  Then the snaps can be uploaded on contacts or social networking sites without any problem. Apart from that some more features are also there like instant access to the Microsoft Marketplace, easy back-up of data, automatic wireless and web-based synchronization with the owner’s laptop which make the neoTouch P400 an intelligent phone.
 
The Acer neoTouch P400 handset is expected to touch the stores by May 2010. However, the details including the pricing and the exact availability are under wraps.
