PC maker Acer launched as many as five new smartphones in India. While announcing the launch of new range of mobile phones, Aymar de Lencquesaing, senior corporate VP, Acer Inc & president, smart handheld business group stated that the with the launch of the new products, Acer’s Smart Handheld Business Group has entered the emerging Indian mobile market for the first time. The introduction of new mobiles also signifies company’s commitment in bringing innovative solution to the customers, added Lencquesaing.
 
The launch of new smartphones also symbolizes Acer’s technological advancement and continued focus on R&D, informed the official. According to him, the new products will revolutionize the way people use mobile technology in India. The newly launched smartphones from Acer are DX900, DX650, X960, F900 and M900. 

Of the five models, the DX900 is a dual-SIM phone while the DX650 is a dual-face design phone with touch screen on one side and finger-friendly keypad on other. The F900 and M900 mobile phones feature web browsing capabilities. The last model, X960 is positioned as an all purpose handset. All these feature-enriched smartphones from Acer’s stable will be marketed and distributed by Vision Distribution.
