Leading PC maker Acer has introduced yet another laptop, Aspire 5536 in Indian market. The new notebook from Acer’s stable is powered by AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core processor. Acer Aspire 5536 features a 15.6-inch HD CineCrystal screen, 8X DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive, Dolby8-optimized surround sound system with two built-in stereo speakers and webcam. The new notebook comes with impressive storage and long battery life.
Acer Aspire 5536 laptop is expected to offer high quality visual experience as it is equipped with AMD’s latest M780G chipset with ATI Radeon HD 4570 graphics. Aspire 5536 offers floating keyboards and controls in addition to multi-gesture touchpad that comes with circular-motion scrolling for seamless navigation. It is also equipped with pinch-action facility for zoom-in and zoom-out and page flip option for browsing and flipping through web pages and photos.
While announcing the launch of the new laptop, S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India stated that the use of AMD’s mobile technology helped the PC maker to come up with a notebook that will cater to the digital entertainment needs of the consumers. According to Tomonobu Kamiya, Sales Development Director, Asia-Pacific and Japan, AMD, the new laptop will allow the users to enjoy HD quality multimedia content with ease. Acer Aspire 5536 will be available for Rs 28,499 for Linux OS and Rs 30,499 featuring Windows Vista Home Basic OS.
