Abhishek Faked His Dive In Raavan? Abhishek Bachchan

A controversy is leading Abhishek’s breath taking cliff dive for a toss in the movie ‘Raavan’. MS Balmram, former national diving champion claims, that it was him, who dived and not Abhishek.

The much hyped film, Raavan opened to a neutral response in its first week, but gave rise to many controversies side by side. The recent addition is the claim by former national diving champion, MS Balram.

He claims that the heart beating against ribs scene was performed by him and not Abhishek Bachchan.

It has attracted a lot of attention again, but the actor claims, that it was he who dived off the cliff and not him(Balram).

Bachchan adds, “I went ahead to do the dive scenes myself even though Mani Ratnam opposed it.”

Balram replies, “I am not here to create any controversy or to attract publicity because personally, I am a big fan of the Bachchans. I just want Mani Ratnam sir’s movie to do well. But, it is also true that I was paid for doing the stunt and I am proud that I could do it.”

Restless Balram also says that he was offered this role in the year 2008 itself through a friend, who worked in Ratnam’s team.

He further adds, “My brother Bhushan persuaded me to accept the offer. I joined the team at Hoggenakkal, where it was filmed. I had gone through many dry runs before I gave the final shot on December 19, 2008.”

It’s really a matter of plight either on the part of Balram or Abhishek, the truth is best known by them.
