Well the film industry is full of copycats but it does matter who replaces whom in a better manner? May be Pratik Babbar has the better chance to do the job in a better manner than the super star Abhishek Bachchan whom he had replaced in the film ‘Copycat’ of Goldie Behl.

This stunning actor Pratik Babbar is none other than the son of late glamorous actress of yesteryears Smita Patel. Currently, this handsome hunk was seen shooting on the Mumbai streets for his upcoming movie which reflects about life in the metropolis.

He has come a long way to prove himself in the Indian screen like his mom Smita and dad Raj Babbar. Luckily he seems to have snatched few many good projects in his favor like Raghav Dar's ‘My Friend Pinto’ and now ‘Copycat’ of Goldie Behl. May be many more in the future.

It is heard that he will be featuring for special rain sequence in ‘Copycat’ and unlike his mother Smita who disliked rain shot, he has no issue about it. Recollecting on a previous famous rain song sequence in Namak Halal for ‘Aaj Rapat Jayen,’ Smita was actually very unhappy about it as she was not comfortable about getting wet. Smita often use to cry about her wetty experience at home.

Goldie’s thriller movie has few crucial sequences that needs to be shot in rain sequence and the actor seems to have no qualm about it. The shooting for this special sequence will take place in the monsoon month of July on the streets of Mumbai.

It's a gritty realistic romantic thriller, director Goldie states, "It's a gritty realistic romantic thriller set on the streets of Mumbai during the rains. We'll be shooting from July through the monsoon."

Since Goldie didn't want an artificial studio rain for the film so he had set to give it a realistic look in the location of Mumbai streets.

There's something special about the young actor Pratik that strikes Goldie very much and thinks him to be the perfect man to justify the role. Admirably Goldie adds, "There's something special about that boy, besides the fact that he looks so much like his mother. He suits the role perfectly.”

May be that’s why Abhishek lost to Pratik in ‘Copycat’.
